Drakshadi Kashayam – Vaidyaratnam – 200ml
Drakshadi Kashayam is a classical Ayurvedic decoction (kashayam) manufactured by Vaidyaratnam Oushadhasala, referenced in Ashtangahridayam (Chikitsasthana 1/55–58) and Sahasrayogam as a Vata-Pitta Jwarahara (Vata-Pitta fever-subduing) formulation. Named after its principal herb Draksha (Vitis vinifera / raisins), this 16-herb Sheeta (cooling) preparation is primarily indicated for Pitta-predominant conditions including Jwara, Kamala, Chardi, and Raktapitta. Prepared by reducing herbs in eight parts water to one-quarter, this formulation is classically used for conditions of Pitta vitiation affecting the digestive system, liver, and blood.
