Nalpamaradi Tailam – Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala – 200ml
Nalpamaradi Tailam is a classical Ayurvedic medicated oil manufactured by Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala, referenced in Sahasrayogam (Tailayoga Prakaranam 26) and the Ayurvedic Formulary of India (Vol. 1). Prepared with four species of Ficus bark (Nalpamara), Triphala, Manjishta, and Chandana, processed in a sesame oil base with a decoction of fresh turmeric and Parpata, this oil is classically indicated for skin disorders including Vicharchika, Kushtha, and Twak vikara. The sesame oil base has an Ushna (warming) Guna making this formulation traditionally preferred in winter, cold climatic conditions, and for dry or Vata-predominant skin.
⚠️ This is the sesame oil version. For a cooling coconut oil base suitable for summer and Pitta-predominant skin, see Nalpamaradi Kera Tailam.
For external use only. Patch test recommended before first use.
